There is an unwritten rule that when you work in the media, you have to remain unbiased.

However, every now and then you come across great people who you watch persevere through all of the ups and downs, and you just can’t help but want to see them succeed.

Two such people are Chris Lucas and Preston Brust, better known as LOCASH.

The Nashville music industry quietly cheered when they found success as songwriters with Tim McGraw’s “Truck Yeah” and Keith Urban’s “You Gonna Fly,” we held a hopeful breath that “Keep In Mind” would be their big break when it found its way to the Top 40, and let out a ovation that shook the “Batman Building” when “I Love This Life” hit the #1 position.

All of their hard work has now culminated with the release of their brand new album The Fighters, their first full-length with Reviver Records.

Led by “I Love This Life” and their current single “I Know Somebody,” the duo offers a perfect balance of everything that they are sonically and the type of well-crafted, powerful lyrics that they bring to the table.

There are several songs designed to slide into the sets of their energetic live shows from the sing-a-long with “Ain’t Startin’ Tonight,” to the sway-a-long with grooves of “All Day” and “Til The Wheels Fall Off.”
